Eagle System
Want to start your child in a martial arts class? Help your child with self-development by allowing them to practice self-discipline and gain self-confidence?
Yet, are you worried about them being taught to have punching and kicking as their first response to unknown situations?
The Nebraska Hapkido Association has the solution: The Eagle System.
All martial arts have certain fundamentals to them, and most teachers of martial arts assume a new student will understand and be able to apply those fundamentals by learning the basic techniques of the system. But often it doesn't work out well!
The Eagle System is designed to directly teach the fundamental principles underlying many martial arts while building self-discipline and self-confidence.
Areas:
| Structure and Movement | Balance and Grounding |
| Tumbling | Groundwork |
| Takedowns | Throws |
| Strikes | Kicks |
Your child will be able to practice the fundamentals that make a martial art effective, while learning self-control. All martial technique is based on effective structure, balance, grounding, and movement, so your child will be exposed to offensive techniques only after they have had practice at body control and emotional self-discipline.
If you think that you and your child might be interested in the Eagle System, please let us know by sending us an email giving us your name, and the name and age of your child. Contacting us does not mean you have committed your child to joining a class, it merely means you might be interested if a class does begin. If there is enough interest in Plattsmouth, we will begin a course here and we'd like to make sure we can let you know!
For all children, ages 8 and up.
