Eagle System Class Costs and Requirements:
- Cost: $45 per month tuition for 2 classes per week
- Age Requirement: 8 years of age or older
New Student Special: New students pay $135 -- for this they receive three months of training and a free Eagle System t-shirt and pants. New Students may also choose to pay their initial tuition in two monthly installments: $80 in the first month, and $70 in the second month. The student still receives three months of training and an Eagle System t-shirt and pants. In all cases, after the first three months, the tuition reverts back to $45 per month.
Promotional Costs: Rank in the Eagle System is given as recognition of the student's self-development. Students who achieve higher levels receive local rank certificates from the Nebraska Hapkido Association school, and chevrons to place on their t-shirt denoting their new rank. The rank fees are approximately $25 per promotion to offset the costs of promotional materials.
In the Eagle System, students do not "test" like they do in other systems. As students progress, their development is monitored and marked. Once the student fulfills their development goals in all eight fundamental areas, a demonstration of their ability is scheduled. After the demonstration, the student is promoted.
Eagle System Rank Levels:
Students in the Eagle System can achieve the following series of levels. All students start at white, and proceed from there. As each student fulfills all of the requirements for each of the 8 fundamental areas, they may promote to the next level.
White
Yellow
Green
Blue
Red
1st Black
At 1st Black level, students are taught additional fundamental areas of the martial arts related to teaching, synthesis of concepts, and applications.
2nd Black denotes students able to teach White/Yellow ranks.
3rd Black denotes students able to teach Green/Blue ranks.
4th Black denotes students able to teach Red ranks.
The 5th Black level is reserved for students who are proficient in all 8 fundamental areas, have demonstrated self-control physically, mentally, and emotionally, and who, through study, are prepared and able to teach all levels (including black levels) of the Eagle System.
